Instructions for Bunk Making: 1. Remove the existing bunk boards from the trailer, take off the old carpet, and sand away any glue or debris before applying the new carpet. Inspect the bunk boards for any damage and replace them if needed. 2. Measure the size of your boat bunks to determine the required amount of bunk carpet. 3. Stapling the new bunk carpeting is highly recommended to ensure the longevity of the carpet. 4. Before carpeting the trailer bunks, insert the securing bolts into the pre-drilled holes on the bunk boards. 5. Unroll and lay out the new carpet with the rubber backing facing up. Place the bunk board evenly along the edge of the carpet, leaving enough excess on each end to completely wrap around the bunk. Secure the first side with staples, then roll the board until it is fully covered, stapling every 2-3 inches along the bottom to ensure a snug fit. Fold and staple the excess carpet over the initial bottom side. 6. Flip the newly wrapped bunk board over and use the remaining excess carpet to wrap and secure the bottom side, either with glue or staples. 7. Repeat the process for the remaining bunks.
